Job description

We are seeking a Principal Salesforce Technical Architect to lead enterprise Salesforce strategy, architecture, and delivery for a globally distributed team. This role offers the opportunity to shape scalable solutions across Salesforce capabilities including Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, integrations, and AI-enabled automation.

Responsibilities
  • Define and govern Salesforce architecture standards, reusable design patterns, and best practices across the platform.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic goals into scalable, well-documented solution designs.
  • Lead discovery and design workshops to gather requirements, evaluate options, and create implementation roadmaps.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions across business processes, data, security, integrations, automation, and AI capabilities.
  • Design and support Salesforce implementations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Platform Events, and APIs.
  • Drive Experience Cloud solutions for customer, partner, and employee portals, including authentication, sharing, branding, and user experience considerations.
  • Support secure identity and access approaches such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Just-in-Time user provisioning for external users.
  • Lead enterprise integrations with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, middleware, batch processing, and event-driven patterns.
  • Evaluate emerging Salesforce technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Review technical designs and code, identify risks early, and help resolve production issues through strong root-cause analysis.
  • Guide solution delivery from design through SIT, UAT, deployment, and production stabilization.
  • Mentor administrators, developers, and technical leads while promoting consistent engineering quality and collaboration.
Skills
  • Strong hands-on Salesforce experience, including configuration and/or development.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations from architecture through delivery.
  • Solid background in Experience Cloud architecture and external user solutions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Platform Events, and APIs.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, middleware, and event-based approaches.
  • Ability to build scalable, maintainable solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating across distributed global environments.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Experience Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Health Cloud Accredited Professional.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI-powered automation tools such as Agentforce and Prompt Builder.
  • Knowledge of secure external portal design, including CMS integration, personalization, and scalable community experiences.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with content management platforms and identity providers.
  • Background in healthcare or regulated industry environments.
