Cincinnati Hebrew Day School is an Orthodox Jewish day school. In addition to the standard General Studies subjects, students study Judaic subjects as well. This dual-curriculum approach builds students into well-rounded, analytical thinkers, with a special combination of skills and values that will serve them well as adults.

Cincinnati Hebrew Day School is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Middle School Teacher to join our educational team for Middle School Students, grades 6-8.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and share daily lesson plans based on existing curriculum

  • Collaborate and correspond regularly with parents and administration

  • Closely monitor and record student progress

  • Tailor to individual student needs.

  • Fulfill other supervisory duties as assigned

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • Starting salary $20,000

  • Part-time (between the hours of 12:00-4:00 PM)

  • Monday-Thursday

  • Golf Manor, Cincinnati OH

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in higher education teaching or classroom instruction is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in utilizing learning tools to enhance student engagement.

  • Demonstrated competency and experience with lesson planning; basic computer skills and use of web-based tools.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.

  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
