Special Education Teacher needed to work in a regional special education program with middle and high school aged children with autism, PDD, ID and behavioral disorders. We provide a creative K-12 instruction program in a highly structured and supportive atmosphere. Work with well-trained teams in a positive teaching environment. Competitive salary and benefits. Extensive staff development and teacher support provided..
CT Certification (165) required. Candidates must have a degree in special education and be eligible for/hold State of Connecticut teaching certificate required for the position.
Candidates with previous teaching experience and a MS/MA in the discipline/field are preferred.
Position Length: Full time following the academic calendar
Start Date: immediately upon hire
Salary range: as per CES/CESEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
