Job Description

Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:

  • Write code across the full application stack - front end Web UI, middle tier service layer, and back end database
  • Perform analysis of requirements and design
  • Create and execute unit tests and perform basic systems testing
  • Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings
  • Work in an Agile Scrum team process, collaborating closely with fellow developers, DBAs, QA, team leads, and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and support system and application problems
Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • US Citizen.
  • NACI (Clearance).
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Five (5) + years of experience using Microsoft technologies including ASP.NET 4.0, C#/VB.NET and Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5.
  • Experience with Oracle 11g.
  • Excellent understanding of Object Oriented software design.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and Web Services.
  • Experience with Agile development processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new technologies.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Visual Studio 2010+ preferred.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports.
  • Experience with the Telerik ASP.Net Library.
  • Experience with web frameworks like jQuery, Bootstrap, Knockout, SASS, etc.
  • Experience with Node.js and related web-dev tools (Bower, Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, Jasmine, etc)
  • Experience with distributed source control systems (preferably Git).
  • Understanding of Test Driven Development.
  • Microsoft Certification related to .NET technologies.
  • Security+ Certification.

This is a full-time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance
