Woodland School - Public School Academy (Charter) Location: Woodland School, Traverse City, Michigan Position Type: Full-Time Grade Levels: 6th-8th Grade Content Area: Mathematics (6th, 7th, Pre- Algebra 8th grade/Algebra & Math MS Interventions using Delta Math for PSAT supports)
Position Overview
Woodland School, a Michigan Public School Academy, in Traverse City is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Middle School Math Teacher for Grades 6-8. This position focuses on building strong foundational math skills, Algebra readiness, and providing targeted math interventions to ensure students are well prepared for success in high school mathematics.
The ideal candidate is committed to supporting diverse learners, using data to drive instruction, and creating a positive and structured learning environment for middle school students.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality math instruction aligned with Michigan K-12 Mathematics Standards
  • Teach core middle school math concepts, including pre-algebra and Algebra foundations
