ABOUT THE TEAM

The Deployments Team manages the coordination and execution of fielding Anduril's hardware and software products worldwide. Working across Product, Engineering, Growth, Business Development, Technical Operations, and Mission Operations, Deployments oversees forward logistics, site installation, maintenance & repairs, field inventory management, sustainment and reverse logistics. The team is central to ensuring effective customer and mission success, shaping the future of Anduril's defense solutions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Deployment Operations Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the processes and execution of deploying Anduril's people and hardware across the globe. You will oversee all deployments within a specific business line and will need to partner deeply with the appropriate Growth, Engineering, and Technical Operations leads to deploy the right hardware and people at the right time to ensure mission success. This will require unique problem solving skills, the ability to work across teams seamlessly, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a deep appreciation for details and accountability.
This role is ideal for an Operations leader who thrives in high-growth, high-stakes environments. You will have a direct impact on mission success, operational efficiency, and Anduril's global expansion. You will lead a team, build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the right people and assets are in place to support of critical missions around the world. This is an opportunity for a leader with a passion for defense and cutting-edge technology.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Anduril and develop strong working relationships with the Growth and Technical Operations leads to ensure the successful execution of all deployments.
  • Own and flawlessly execute the Deployment Operations lifecycle of all deployments. As a key leader on the Deployment Operations team, you will be asked to own and manage all deployments related to your Business Line.
  • Communicate effectively to keep internal and external teams informed at all times. Use the necessary tools (JIRA, Oracle, Odoo) and channels (Slack, email, meetings) to ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be accomplished and when.
  • Obsess over the details and create structured plans for each and every deployment to ensure that people and hardware are in the right place at the right time. Deploying Anduril's hardware requires white glove service where there are no second chances or do-overs
  • Problem solve and remove obstacles for the team and internal and external partners. Know how to think critically and engage the right teams to help.
  • Be a dedicated team player, willing to take on any task, no matter how small, and contribute to the overall success of the team by rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and consistently look for ways to improve Anduril's Deployment Operations processes. There are constantly new challenges and new products, so always look for ways to ease the burden on our internal customers.
  • Guide a team of Operations & Logistics Associates assigned to your Business Line through all deployment coordination and operations. Mentor and help develop the individuals on the team while ensuring overall mission success.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or project management, with a focus on international operations.
  • Experience working on Middle East operations and/or programs
  • Ability to travel based on business needs
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • FMS & DCS experience preferred
  • A background in balancing concurrent complex projects or tasks. Preferred in a manufacturing or hardware environment
  • Requires a relentless mindset to identify, pursue, and engage the right stakeholders - cutting through ambiguity and organizational silos to ensure the mission gets done.
  • Strong leadership skills, including organizing, planning, scheduling, and balancing personnel workloads to meet rigorous deadlines and milestones.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, customers, and government representatives.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and remove obstacles for your teams; willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle any challenge.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering high-quality results in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.
