Mid Valley has contracts with the top Independent Insurance Companies in the State of Michigan which allows for producers to close sales at a level far exceeding industry standards. Mid Valley Insurance offers a system and process which allows for tremendous freedom for the right person. The right person can flourish and make a great living at Mid Valley Insurance.
Job Summary
Agents/Producers are expected to sell at a high level. They are responsible to prospect for new clients as well as to do annual reviews with current clients to increase retention. Their primary focus will be on growing their book of business with all lines of insurance(Personal, Commercial, Farm, Life, Health) The applicant will be expected to be able to pass all the licensing requirements as put forth by the State of Michigan.

How Mid Valley compensates your work:
  • Top sales producers can earn between $40,000-$60,000 in year one. Experience producers earn over $100,000 in commissions and bonuses. This is not a salaried position
  • Monthly production incentives

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Prospect, Quote, and Sell for all lines of insurance
  • Do annual reviews of clients policies to look for ways to cross-sell for new policies
  • Freedom to be out of the office prospecting new clients(Commercial and Personal)
  • Must be able to fit into the culture of Mid Valley Insurance
  • This role reports directly to the President of the company

Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous Sales experience is not required, but preferred
  • Background in insurance is not required, but preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all people, not just clients/co-workers
  • The applicant should be self-motivated. There is no ceiling on the income one can earn
  • Must be proficient at basic computer skills
  • The ability to write is imperative for success!
