Job description

We are looking for an Entry-Level to Mid-Level Equipment Service Technician to join our team! An entry-level equipment service technician assists experienced mechanics in maintaining and repairing diesel and gas powered machines. Work hours: M-F 8:00AM to 4:00PM


Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on diesel, gas, and small engine equipment.
  • Conduct basic equipment diagnostics to identify maintenance and repair needs.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with general equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Occasionally deliver small equipment to local customers and job sites.

Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with diesel and gas engines is preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs., work safely and follow established shop procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a ventilated, but sometimes hot shop, as well as outdoors.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred for local equipment deliveries.
