System Administrator

Description
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team in Atlanta, GA. This role supports both local data center operations and global infrastructure services, ensuring high availability and performance for critical enterprise systems.
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving infrastructure operations within a 24/7 global environment, with a strong focus on ITIL-based service management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Requires coverage during US operating hours as well an on-call support if needed.
  • Troubleshooting of IT Services incidents as requested thru the IT Ticketing Tool by internal employees and possible external users.
  • Analyze and test software, hardware and business applications functionalities and issues.
  • Analyze and repair of software, hardware and/or business applications incidents.
  • Provide quality answers and follow-up to customers in a timely manner.
  • Use systems analysis techniques while working with customers to provide general or specific applications, systems or solutions to best meet business specifications and customer needs.
  • Deliver administrative duties such as reporting and tracking, event coordination, creating presentations, periodic research for project, procurement activities and invoicing.
  • Provide after-hours support when required for incidents or maintenance activities.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a System Administrator in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience with server infrastructure, virtualization, and data center operations.
  • Experience applying ITIL-based service management processes within a ticket-driven support environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Experience supporting Windows patching, systems management tools, and end-user requests (break/fix and proactive).
  • Experience collaborating with external vendors and cross-functional teams in a globally distributed environment.
  • Working knowledge of or experience with server, network, and storage virtualization, along with a commitment to developing technical skills.
  • Must be willing to work 3 days per week in the office
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with hybrid or global infrastructure environments.
  • Experience working with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
  • Exposure to process improvement frameworks or operational excellence initiatives.
