Job Summary:
Redhorse Corporation is a solution-driven company delivering data insights and technology solutions to customers with missions critical to U.S. national interests. They are looking for a Mid-Level Software Developer to join their team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of a web-based tool used by non-technical end users, impacting government operations significantly.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of the web-based tool using AWS cloud services on classified systems.
• Support architecture to ensure reliability and compliance with federal requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established QA and coding standards.
• Apply secure software development techniques, including encryption, user authentication, and role-based access control.
• Integrate APIs, databases, and other services to support functionality
• Programmatically interface with third-party systems
• Collaborate with the IT PM, senior developers, and customer stakeholders to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Support system reliability, monitoring, and automation improvements.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related degree
• 3+ years of programming experience in programming languages, web application technologies and integration on classified IC cloud systems
• Familiarity with Agile requirements management and sprint planning
• AWS certification or equivalent cloud technology certification (or actively pursuing)
• Familiarity with SecDevOps practices such as CI/CD and testing suites
Preferred:
• Experience with Agile PM tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Experience programming with AngularJS, JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS
• Experience with relational and NoSQL data solutions, plus query languages like SQL
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or Docker
