West Valley City, Utah
Hybrid โ€” four days in office, one day remote

3form is hiring a junior to mid-level full stack web developer to help build and improve our website and ecommerce platform. This role includes both frontend and backend work, with a stronger emphasis on building polished user experiences in JavaScript and supporting them in Ruby on Rails.

Youโ€™ll work on a mix of customer-facing and internal tools, including our website, storefront, checkout, account, and admin functionality.

Responsibilities
  • Build and improve frontend features in JavaScript.

  • Create clean, responsive, user-friendly interfaces matching designs provided by our in-house designers.

  • Contribute to backend development in Ruby on Rails.

  • Deliver reliable, well-tested features across the stack.

  • Debug issues and improve application stability.

  • Collaborate with a small team on product and platform improvements.

Qualificationsย 

  • 1โ€“3 years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong JavaScript skills and experience building production web features.

  • Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails or a comparable backend framework.

  • Comfort contributing to both frontend and backend code.

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.

  • Ability to meet the required hybrid schedule: four days per week in the West Valley City office.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with React.

  • Experience using Ruby on Rails in production.

  • Familiarity with ecommerce applications.

  • Experience with APIs, relational databases, background jobs, and/or Docker.

  • Experience with Spree or Avo ruby gems.

This is aย West Valley City, Utahโ€“based hybrid position.

  • Employees are required to workย in our West Valley City office four days per weekย and may work remotely one day per week.

  • Applicants mustย currently reside in Northern Utah and be able to reliably commute to the officeย for the required in-person schedule.

  • An in-person interview in the Salt Lake City area is requiredย as part of the hiring process.

  • Candidates who are not currently located in Northern Utah, cannot attend an in-person interview, or cannot meet the four-days-per-week in-office requirement will not be considered.

  • Relocation assistance is not available.
