Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- History and physical examination: Conduct patient interview and perform appropriate physical exam to develop the patient’s plan of care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic test results. Provide education to patient regarding results of diagnostic tests.
- Make diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment.
- Prescribe therapy and/or medication per practice’s algorithms.
- Electronic Medical Record documentation: Provide accurate and thorough documentation of the office visit.
- Perform therapeutic procedures-such as medication injections, wound care, trigger point injections, and infection management.
- Supervise and coordinate appropriate duties of non-licensed clinical staff.
- Address messages regarding patient complications, and/or medication refills.
- Participate in clinical education opportunities
- Act as preceptor to new hire providers
- Maintain flexibility
- Maintain licensing and prescribing duties by ensuring renewals and required continued education is completed.
- Practice in a safe and compliant manner, in accordance to practice policies & protocols as well as your state/national regulatory licensing guidelines.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of pain management experience
- Valid DEA License
- Valid Arizona PA or NP licensure
- Some travel required (local)
