*This position requires travel to all Penn Medicine locations (both City and Suburb) for up to 3 weeks at a time. Mileage reimbursement offered.
Business Integration Associate
Summary:
The Business Process Integration Associate is responsible for coordinating and/or leading local and enterprise-wide level execution of Strategic Optimization Projects for their assigned area(s). This is a position requiring independent thought and judgment combined with the ability to understand front-line business operations in a multitude of unique settings.
Working under limited supervision, this individual will facilitate implementation and acceptance of common healthcare technology applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Inform, design and assure implementation and adoption of technology.
  • Assure readiness for new implementations, upgrades, new hospitals/ practices, and workflows.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver strategically important projects through to completion
  • Support and understand the needs of the client.
  • Communications are timely and appropriate to audience.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Open to change and different approaches to work.
  • Clinical Team only: Coordinate and lead governance and prioritization within the local entities.
  • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

Certifications:
  • EPIC Certification (Preferred)
Education:
  • Bachelors Degree (Required)
  • And up to 2 years of experience working with electronic medical records
  • Masters Degree (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a medical practice management or healthcare management role (preferred)
  • Experience using Epic (Preferred)
