Job description

MISTRAS Group is seeking a Level I, Level II, and/or Level III Rope Access Technicians for work in Trainer, PA. This is for temporary/project based work. Candidates will support industrial inspection and maintenance operations while utilizing rope access techniques in accordance with safety and industry standards. The Rope Access Technician will perform inspection, maintenance, and support activities while working at heights and in industrial environments.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform rope access work in accordance with SPRAT and/or IRATA guidelines
  • Support inspection, maintenance, and industrial service operations
  • Utilize rope access equipment and techniques safely and effectively
  • Follow all company, customer, and site-specific safety procedures
  • Inspect and maintain rope access equipment
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and industrial environments
  • Complete required documentation and safety reports
  • Work closely with supervisors, inspectors, and project teams
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands require

Requirements:
  • Current SPRAT or IRATA Level I, II, or III certification required
  • Previous rope access experience required
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or maintenance experience preferred
  • NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT, RT) are a plus
