HR Generalist 

Job Description
 
Earth Resources Corp. (ERC) is seeking a well-rounded mid-level HR Generalist to join our team. This position will be onsite at our office in Dewey, Arizona and provide ongoing support to business leaders and employees while working to advance business goals and strengthen the culture and values at ERC. ERC offers competitive compensation commensurate to experience and qualifications.

 Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to
 
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with management and employees.
 
 Understanding challenges/needs while offering support and solutions.
 
 Managing full employee life cycle. 
 
 Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Interact with managers and employees to provide overall HR guidance and support.
  • Advise managers and employees on interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations support including performance improvement plans and corrective actions.
  • Have a strong understanding of HR Laws and Regulations
  • Provide various staffing services including creating requisitions and posting jobs, conducting interviews, extending job offers, on-boarding, record retention and reporting for compliance requirements.
  • Process terminations and conduct employee exit interviews.
  • HR Operations Administration including employee benefits administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment & disability claims, etc.
  • Management training.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
 

  • Degree/Certification in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Valid experience may substitute for formal education.
  • 3 years of direct experience in Human Resources, and Staffing/Recruiting.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective listening and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with peers, employees, and management.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision, and drive tasks and projects to completion.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • PHR/SPHR certification
  • Prior HR experience
