Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled React Frontend Developer with expertise in building responsive, accessible, and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with React.js, Redux, REST API integration, and modern frontend development practices. This role requires a strong understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and experience developing user-centric applications for government or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
  • Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components and frontend libraries.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 and accessibility best practices across all user interfaces.
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Manage application state using Redux and handle asynchronous data flows.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and accessible user experiences.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
  • Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and other best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA engineers, product owners, and stakeholders.
  • Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Utilize Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins for streamlined deployments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for application features, enhancements, and processes.
  • Ensure applications meet security, usability, and accessibility requirements, particularly for government users.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with Redux for state management.
  • Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs using Axios or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of Section 508, WCAG, and accessibility compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Git, Git workflows, and source code management.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Federal Government projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of frontend security best practices.
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques and frontend architecture patterns.
