In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex energy data and intuitive user experiences. While your primary focus will be our AI-driven carbon intelligence platform, you will contribute across our entire product suite, leading UI/UX initiatives from wireframing to deployment.Key Responsibilities Create Wireframes & Prototypes: Design and develop wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and UI designs based on user requirements and product specifications. Implement UI Designs: Translate complex designs into functional, responsive, and high-performance interfaces using modern technologies. Develop New User-Facing Features: Implement user-facing features and interactive elements with a focus on usability and design. Generative Insight UI: Develop specialized interfaces for "Bill AI Insights," ensuring LLM-generated reasoning is presented clearly with interactive "Human-in-the-Loop" feedback mechanisms. Mobile Deployment: Lead the strategy for wrapping and deploying our web-based experiences into native iOS and Android applications. Build Reusable Components: Architect and maintain a robust library of reusable components and frontend libraries to ensure consistency across the application. Optimize for Performance: Ensure fast load times and smooth performance across all devices, particularly for data-heavy visualizations of real-time energy consumption and grid signals. Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers. Contribute to code reviews and a culture of continuous improvement. Technical RequirementsModern Core Stack Framework: Next.js (React), Vue.js State Management: React Context API Styling & UI: Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Ionic, Vuex, Vuetify Mobile: Capacitor (iOS/Android) DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), GitHub version control Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development. Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and React/Vue principles. Proven experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Expertise in responsive and adaptive design across web and mobile platforms. Interest or experience in UX design, including user research and user testing. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional R&D environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Privacy by Design principles, ensuring PII is protected at the interface level. Experience in energy, fintech, or data-visualization-heavy industries. Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and containerized deployments.
