AI Solutions Architect (Mid-Level / Systems Integration)
Location: Washington, DC area (Hybrid โ€“ 1โ€“2 days onsite weekly; remote considered)
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust Overview
We are seeking a mid-level AI Solutions Architect to support a high-priority federal modernization initiative. This role combines solution architecture, system integration, and applied AI capabilities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing enterprise solutions, working across stakeholders, and supporting delivery within government or highly regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Solution Architect and technical lead supporting AI-enabled and enterprise IT initiatives
Design and deliver scalable, secure architectures aligned to federal standards and best practices
Support system integration efforts across SaaS platforms, cloud systems, and enterprise applications
Lead and participate in architecture reviews, design sessions, and SDLC governance activities
Apply AI/LLM-assisted tools to support development, documentation, and delivery workflows
Translate requirements into technical solutions and system designs
Facilitate technical discussions and stakeholder sessions
Provide Tier 2/3 support for complex system issues and troubleshooting
Configure and integrate enterprise SaaS platforms into existing environments
Collaborate with engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices Required Qualifications Ability to obtain or hold a Public Trust clearance
Experience working within federal or regulated environments
Strong knowledge of SDLC and governance processes
Hands-on experience with: Application development and architecture design
Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
Version control and development tools
CI/CD and DevOps practices Experience using AI/LLM tools to: Generate documentation
Support development workflows
Produce deliverables Experience with ServiceNow (administration/configuration/integration)
Experience supporting enterprise SaaS implementations
Experience supporting service desk operations (Tier 2/3)
Strong skills in: Requirements gathering
Technical documentation
Stakeholder communication Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise-level federal initiatives
Familiarity with AI/ML solution integration into business workflows
Experience working on high-visibility or executive-level programs
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
