Description:

Overview

The Training & Development Specialist II is a mid-level training professional responsible for assessing training needs, developing and delivering learning programs, and supporting organizational learning and development strategies.

The role partners with managers and functional leaders to identify performance and competency gaps and develop effective training solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze HR data, identify trends, and develop insights to support business decisions and employee engagement.
  • Design and develop training courses and learning programs using established methodologies.
  • Create engaging training content and high-quality learning resources.
  • Deliver training sessions and short courses while engaging and guiding learners.
  • Evaluate learner performance and training outcomes.
  • Partner with managers and department leaders to identify learning and development priorities.
  • Gather performance and competency data and identify skill gaps.
  • Establish learning outcomes and develop appropriate training interventions.
  • Prepare complex documents using various office technology applications.
  • Gather, analyze, and summarize data for special reports.
  • Respond to internal and external questions regarding complex processes and policies.
  • Support development centers, including:
    • Exercises
    • Feedback tools
    • Development planning
    • Documentation
  • Train assessors on facilitating development activities and employee development planning.
  • Stay current with relevant technology, regulations, industry best practices, and L&D trends.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, training, coaching, and assessment activities.
