  • Prepare high-level business presentations and executive-ready reporting.
  • Analyze customer, product, pricing, and market data to support commercial decision-making.
  • Assist with market research, competitive benchmarking, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain metal market surcharge calculations and supporting schedules.
  • Support product costing analysis and verify costing calculations associated with Engineering Change Requests.
  • Prepare reporting related to engineering project costs and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Manage and reconcile customer-paid tooling ledgers.
Customer & Account Management
  • Serve as a responsive point of contact for assigned customers and assist with day-to-day account management activities.
  • Communicate directly with customers to answer questions, provide information, resolve issues, and coordinate internal follow-up.
  • Support Account Managers and Sales leadership in maintaining and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer requirements, programs, products, and business priorities.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and communicate customer feedback, concerns, and opportunities throughout the organization.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Materials, and other departments to ensure customer questions and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Participate in and, when appropriate, lead customer meetings, internal account reviews, and cross-functional discussions.
  • Help ensure customer commitments, action items, quotations, and commercial requirements are effectively tracked and communicated.
  • Maintain RFQ, quotation, and related commercial databases.
  • Assist with preparation, analysis, and administration of customer quotations and RFQs.
  • Work with Materials Planning and Operations to support effective product order management and customer delivery requirements.
  • Support Sales leadership with pricing analysis, customer presentations, business reviews, and strategic account planning.
  • Lead or facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings related to customer programs, commercial activities, and business performance.
  • Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives requested by the Director of Sales or executive leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with customers, coworkers, and senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to communicate directly with customers and executives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience analyzing and presenting complex data.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills with the ability to prepare professional, executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to understand the broader business impact of decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, business intelligence, or reporting systems is preferred.
