Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Orlando, FL is seeking an End Point Engineer (Mid-level).
Summary:
Our client is expanding their PC Management team and is looking for End Point Engineers at multiple levels to support a large-scale device environment of 7,000-8,000+ endpoints across mobile, Mac, and PC platforms. These roles are contract-to-hire (6-month rolling) and are primarily remote, with the ability to go into a lab near the Orlando, FL area as needed. Additional locations include Boston, MA; New York, NY; Salt Lake City, UT; and Maryland.
Levels Available:
* Senior End Point Engineer - 5+ years of experience; Team lead capabilities, process improvement focus
* Mid-Level End Point Engineer - 2-4 years of experience
* Junior End Point Engineer - 1-2 years of experience
Responsibilities:
* Manage the full PC end-of-life cycle including configuration, deployment, and decommissioning
* Support and administer endpoint management across a multi-thousand device environment (mobile, Mac, PC)
* Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate processes
* Manage and transition from SCCM to Microsoft Intune, including building out the corporate image
* Deploy and configure applications across the environment
* Support patching operations (SCCM transitioning to Intune or an alternate solution)
* Manage Azure Virtual PC (VPC) environments
* Handle client personalization and service management for PCs
* Provide team and services support; Participate in process improvement initiatives
* Senior Engineers will focus more on process and strategy; Mid/Junior Engineers will focus on ticket-based and real-time support
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience managing a large-scale endpoint environment (multi-thousand devices strongly preferred)
* Experience with SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune
* Familiarity with application deployment, configuration management, and patching
* Proficiency with PowerShell scripting
* Experience with Azure Virtual PC (VPC) is a plus
* Industry background is a value add but not required - industry-agnostic candidates are welcome
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
