Position summary

Sikich is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Auditor/Reviewer. This role is contingent upon award of contract.
What will you do in this role?

  • Perform independent evaluations of programs and systems to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with OMB Circular A-123, GAO standards, departmental regulations, and other applicable guidelines
  • Identify operational risks, control gaps, and vulnerabilities
  • Plan and execute review engagements
  • Analyze documentation, data, and process flows
  • Prepare findings and recommendations
  • Coordinate with client offices across multiple facilities
  • Support corrective action follow-up and
  • Produce clear written reports and briefings for client leadership.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • On-site in Alexandria, VA
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Major in accounting or other related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience conducting internal control assessments and operational risk reviews to support the clientโ€™s internal review division. 
  • Federal employee or federal contractor experience preferred
  • CPA, CGFM, or PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and software application skills
  • Knowledge of federal financial processes, systems, and internal controls preferred

In compliance with this stateโ€™s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $101,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
