Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager
As a Project Engineer at Mid-City Electric, you'll be at the heart of fast-paced, high-impact large commercial projects, such as data centers and hospitals/medical centers, helping to deliver exceptional results for our clients while growing your skills alongside some of the best in the industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Coordination of planning, ordering, installation, and follow-up
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships
  • Maintain and update records
  • Maintain high levels of communication with all parties involved in projects
  • Review and process all contracts and change orders
  • Requisition needed supplies and materials
  • Dispatch technicians to complete work
  • Process permits and inspections
  • Implement project work plans and revise details as necessary
  • Oversee quality assurance procedures

Key Experience Needed to Hit the Ground Running:
  • Knowledge of project management and the ability to apply project management concepts to electrical construction projects
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software and MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a similar field
