Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established custom manufacturing company located in Tumwater, WA, to fill a Casework Engineer role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a progressive and organized team specializing in high-quality commercial interior projects including healthcare, dental, office, and specialty retail environments.

This position is Evaluation-to-Hire, with a consistent full-time day shift schedule Monday through Friday. Compensation starts at $27.00-$32.00/hr depending on experience, with a full benefits package upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer complete production and installation packets using AutoCAD and Microvellum
• Interpret architectural plans and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Create detailed documentation to support fabrication and field installation
• Coordinate with drafting, project management, and production teams throughout projects
• Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review, markups, and coordination
• Maintain organized engineering files and project documentation
• Review work thoroughly for constructability, accuracy, and code compliance
• Support project changes, revisions, and ongoing documentation needs

What You Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• AutoCAD proficiency required
• Previous casework engineering experience required
• Microvellum experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Bluebeam experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
• Familiarity with LEED, FSC, FGI, and AWI guidelines is a plus
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail, focus, and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
