Warehouse Specialist

Summary

The Warehouse Specialist supports daily distribution center operations by ensuring accurate handling of materials for shipping and manufacturing. This role is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and coordinating logistics to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime. Reports to the Facility Manager.


Key Responsibilities


• Manage inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies
• Oversee shipping, receiving, staging, and loading/unloading activities
• Verify incoming shipments against invoices and maintain records in ERP system (Acumatica)
• Fulfill bill of materials (BOM) orders and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain organized storage and monitor stock levels; restock as needed
• Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure material traceability
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and management to support operations
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) to move materials
• Promote safety standards and compliance with OSHA guidelines
• Provide guidance to team members and support continuous improvement efforts
• Assist with production support tasks as needed


Qualifications


• 2+ years of warehouse or inventory experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment

• Combination of indoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions
