Job Description

Job Title: SCCM Engineer

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6-9 month contract to hire

Locals from DC/MD/VA only Must interview on site

Hourly Rate: $45-48/hr on c2c /hour MAX

Top Skills: SCCM 2012, Understanding of creation of packages using powershell, R2 SP1 configuration

Must haves:

Someone capable of working independently and owning the SCCM environment

minimum of 5 years of experience imaging and migrating windows operating systems

SCCM 2012

o Packaging within SCCM

Already packaged but need to know how to create a new package using MSI preferred for packaging or EXE for executable files

o R2 SP1 configuration experience

o Stood up SCCM environment

o Patching within SCCM

o GPO's within SCCM

our most recent candidate lacked recent experience administering Group Policy though he could answer what SMS provider is he doesn't know what that meant in terms of managing it within SCCM

o Understand windows through and through

o SMS provider is relative to SCCM

o understanding of SQL as this is what logs are written in in SCCM (read logs within SCCM)

PowerShell- knowledge of it , write a few scripts doesn't have to be from scratch if they can create them

WSUS- Microsoft Windows Server Update Services

Polished communicator who is capable of supporting c level execs

Create an Exchange Mailbox - no more than that

Must pass the following background checks before starting: (we run this)

o 10 year criminal background

o SSN Trace

o Education verification

o employment verification- up to 3 previous employers or 10 year check

o professional license check if they have it
