Our direct client has a new opening for a  Power Platform Developer 122591  
This position is 9 months, with the option of extension, and is in Augusta, Maine.

Skill 3: Industry Software Development
The State of Maine Application Development Group is currently looking for high-level Programming staff (PR5) to be part of the Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence for the Department of Administration and Financial Services. This role is the highest technical level in all phases of applications systems analysis and design activities. The most important aspects of this work are the application of system analysis skills to formulate solutions to complex business problems using automation technologies and preparing system design plans and detailed specifications to facilitate the development and implementation of application systems. Oversight of daily support activities and other development work may be required. Work is performed under limited supervision. One position is available.
Your Duties will include:
  • The initial focus of this position will be to work with MaineIT Leadership to develop and implement a strategy for governing and sharing best practices for development efforts in the Low.
  • Code technologies beginning with the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on the organization’s Dynamics and Power Platform architecture and data management strategies to business and IT leadership.
  • Support platform maturity and integration of application lifecycle management within the Power Platform – environments, solutions, automation, and delivery.
  • Work with IT Leadership to understand ancillary processes and services required to deliver a complete production-ready environment.
  • Work with IT leadership and Business partners to develop comprehensive Roadmap(s) for Dynamics and Power Platforms.
  • Work with a systems analyst to create or customize Power Platform apps to assist in the governance process.
  • Develop, design, and implement automated applications built upon the Low Code technologies.
  • Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, enhance, and support software systems.
  • Produce designs and other technical documentation.
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Provide hands-on technical expertise to design and implement Power Platform-based solutions satisfying customer requirements.
  • Assist in crafting Power Apps and Power Platform solutions with the ability to impart your knowledge to both pro-developers and citizen developers.
  • Enforces security controls, and maintains the system roles and authorization processes.
  • Partner with security and risk teams in implementing process changes to ensure compliance with privacy policies, security audits, and certifications.
  • Partner with cross-function technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery.
  • Integrate the business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities (current and future) into the direction of all products.
  • Be responsible for architecting and designing Power Platform tenants/environments, liaising with IT, Security, and other technical groups to ensure all integration needs are met and fully implemented.
  • Ensure all related applications and tools are understood and properly reflected in solution designs.
  • Understand both Power Platform and the competitive low code/no code market, with the ability to articulate and explain Power Platform’s advantages and differentiators.
