About the Role

The Carpet Shoppe, Inc. (TCS), operating as Bougainville Flooring Super Store (BFSS), is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Customer Care Coordinator to join our Operations team. This role is a key part of our commitment to delivering exceptional service by assisting customers with product inquiries, coordinating pickups, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish.

As a Customer Care Coordinator, you will be the friendly, solutions-focused liaison between customers and internal departments. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining strong customer relationships, managing service requests, and supporting operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers via phone, email, or in person regarding service requests, product pickups, and general inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate customer pickups, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products
  • Schedule and call customers for delivery services to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of customer interactions, service needs, concerns, and resolutions
  • Use knowledge of products and services to answer questions or refer inquiries to appropriate staff
  • Monitor open service requests and provide proactive communication and updates to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service requests are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Escalate service concerns as necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned

Location

This is an in-person position based on the island of Oahu (County of Honolulu), Hawaii. While we welcome applicants from all locations, candidates must be available to work on-site in Oahu. Team members are required to work on-site regularly on a weekly basis. Occasional travel off-site for events, vendor meetings, or training may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

This a part-time “at-will” position working at minimum 15 hours per week.

The hourly range for this role is $20/hour, which is based on market data and the organization’s compensation philosophy. Our offer will be within the range as required by certain state laws and individual salary offers will depend on and may vary with location, relevant education, knowledge, skills, and experience.
