Job description

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance our hybrid Microsoft infrastructure and cloud environment. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise systems across Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, virtualization, endpoint management, identity services, and backup technologies.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on experience in systems administration or cloud infrastructure, enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, and is passionate about automation, security, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This individual will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams to ensure a secure, reliable, and highly available technology environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
  • Managing Microsoft Azure resources and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Supporting Hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Administering endpoint management through Microsoft Intune.
  • Monitoring infrastructure performance using SolarWinds.
  • Managing VMware virtual environments and Windows server infrastructure.
  • Maintaining backups and disaster recovery readiness through Veeam.
  • Troubleshooting system, server, cloud, and identity-related issues.
  • Automating operational tasks through PowerShell and scripting.

    • Administer and support a Hybrid Active Directory environment integrated with Microsoft Entra ID.
    • Perform day-to-day administration of Microsoft Entra ID.
    • Assist with administration of Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Support Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and license management.
  • Endpoint and Device Management
    • Administer Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Server and Infrastructure Administration
    • Administer Windows Server environments, including patching, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
    • Manage Windows DNS and DHCP services.
    • Provide administration and operational support for Linux servers.
  • Monitoring and Operations
    • Support and maintain SolarWinds monitoring and alerting platforms.
    • Participate in disaster recovery testing, infrastructure upgrades, and operational support.
    • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
  • Virtualization and Backup
    • Support VMware virtualization infrastructure.
    • Administer Veeam Backup & Replication and recovery testing.
  • Cloud Infrastructure
    • Support Microsoft Azure resources across multiple regions.
  • Automation and Process Improvement
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell and batch scripts.
    • Utilize Jira to manage work and documentation.
    • Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure, cloud environments, or systems administration.
