What You’ll Do

  • Identify configuration gaps, security risks, deployment issues, and opportunities to improve reliability and scalability.
  • Design and implement improvements that make iOS application deployments repeatable, secure, and operationally sustainable.
  • Configure and optimize Microsoft Intune for complex enterprise iOS environments.
  • Manage and improve integrations involving Apple Business Manager, Volume Purchase Program, Apple Push Notification service certificates, and enterprise app distribution.
  • Establish documented deployment processes for new application versions, phased rollouts, update management, and rollback procedures.
  • Build pre-release validation processes for Intune-deployed applications.
  • Test mobile application management and mobile device management policy behavior across different devices, iOS versions, authentication configurations, enrollment scenarios, and conditional access policies.
  • Develop monitoring, reporting, dashboards, alerts, and operational runbooks for the managed device fleet.
  • Provide visibility into deployment success rates, installation failures, policy compliance, device enrollment, application version adoption, and rollout performance.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on Intune architecture, deployment strategies, security controls, and enterprise mobility management best practices.
  • Partner closely with Mobile Engineering, IT, Product, Customer Support, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Translate business requirements and customer challenges into clear technical recommendations and actionable solutions.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Microsoft Intune and enterprise iOS device management.

Required Qualifications
  • Deep, hands-on experience implementing, configuring, administering, and scaling Microsoft Intune for large enterprise organizations.
  • Expert-level knowledge of mobile device management and mobile application management.
  • Extensive experience supporting iOS devices and applications in Microsoft Intune environments.
  • Strong knowledge of device enrollment, authentication, certificates, compliance policies, conditional access, application protection, and mobile security best practices.
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager, VPP or Apps and Books, APNs certificates, managed application distribution, and iOS deployment workflows.
  • Proven ability to evaluate Intune architecture and recommend deployment, security, and operational improvements.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise customers or internal environments with complex device management requirements and customized configurations.
  • Experience developing deployment testing, validation, monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and operational documentation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex application deployment, enrollment, policy, compliance, and device management issues.
  • Strong consultative and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with engineering, product, support, IT, and customer-facing teams.
  • Ability to work remotely while maintaining consistent availability during Pacific Time business hours.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Microsoft, Google, Slack, or another organization supporting enterprise-grade iOS applications or device management solutions.
  • Experience acting as the bridge between enterprise customers and engineering or product teams.
  • Experience building or scaling Intune deployment programs in rapidly growing technology environments.
  • Experience supporting lean teams that require strong documentation, automation, monitoring, and repeatable operating procedures.
