Job Summary:
NEOGOV is looking for a Microsoft 365 Administrator to support, implement, design and secure services for Microsoft 365 and System Center Configuration Manager across the enterprise. The role involves managing collaboration applications, security administration, and providing support to development teams, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Designs, deploys, manages and serves as primary expert for the Microsoft 365 and MECM environment.
• Administers and maintains M365 collaboration applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote and Planner.
• Functions as the Microsoft Exchange administrator.
• Functions as SharePoint file sharing administrator.
• In coordination with the SOC, manages Microsoft 365 security administration.
• Provides support to development teams in Power Apps and Power BI.
• Seeks and recommends improvements on existing Microsoft 365 and MECM architecture.
• Creates and executes Powershell scripts to properly install and/or manage.
• Utilizing the Change Management process, applies changes and upgrades to the Microsoft 365 environment.
• Ensures overall security of the Microsoft 365 tenant.
• Manages the enterprise Microsoft 365 licensing.
• Provides eDiscovery services for the County.
• Authors and manages Information Rights Management for encryption of sensitive information.
• Implements data loss prevention (DLP) measures and adjusts as necessary.
• Administers and manages the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, including all endpoints, objects, collections, deployments, and software center.
• Works with other team members to ensure all endpoints are configured with latest security patches and updates for Windows and other enterprise applications.
• Develops comprehensive test cases to include scenarios for normal and degraded operations.
• Coordinates within functional and cross-functional teams to apply expertise in solving problems, growing capabilities and driving initiatives.
• Participates in disaster planning, preparation, recovery, and testing as required.
• Troubleshoots issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
• Provides best practice advice and guidance to management and across the enterprise.
• Provides after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance.
• Performs related work as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related major, or equivalent experience.
• Four years of experience providing design, management and support in Microsoft 365 and SCCM/MECM or closely related experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of all Microsoft 365 workloads – SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Planner, Power Apps and BI, OneDrive, Streams and Microsoft enterprise desktop applications.
• Powershell scripting experience.
Preferred:
• MCSE or similar certification
• Valid TX driver’s license.
• Must maintain CJIS compliancy.
