The Cybersecurity Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization's digital assets, systems, and data from potential cyber threats and attacks. This role supports robust cybersecurity solutions that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information while minimizing risks and vulnerabilities. The Cybersecurity Analyst also collaborates with cross-functional teams and stays updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
  • Cybersecurity Architecture and Design
    • Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Incident Response and Management:
    • Participate in and / or lead incident response activities, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents (minor or major) and breaches
  • Security Solutions Implementation
    • Implement data security measures, including Microsoft Defender, EDR platforms, and MDR enhancements
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
    • Contribute to or co-lead regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on systems, applications, and networks to identify potential weaknesses
    • Collaborate with IT teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and maintain an up-to-date inventory of vulnerabilities and remediations
  • Security Monitoring and Analysis
    • Monitor security logs and alerts from various sources to detect and respond to potential security incidents
    • Analyze security data to identify patterns, trends, and potential security risks

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, IT Engineering, or Computer Science and/or relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience deploying cybersecurity principles, best practices, technologies, and standards
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, endpoint security, and vulnerability scanners
  • "Hands on" technical experience along with strong problem-solving and analytics skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Security Tools (Defender, Purview, etc) a plus
