Job Description
Job Summary:
Visa's Corporate Generative AI (CGAI) organization is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Software Engineer to help drive the next generation of enterprise AI experiences. This role sits at the intersection of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Services, and enterprise-scale automation.
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions that transform how employees interact with business applications, automate complex workflows, and leverage Generative AI to improve productivity across Visa. You will work with solution architects, product owners, platform teams, security partners, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant AI solutions.
The ideal candidate brings experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI technologies, enterprise integrations, and modern software engineering practices, along with the aptitude and desire to grow their expertise across enterprise AI solutions.
What you will build:
  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents and intelligent applications using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure AI services.
  • Build Generative AI solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), enterprise knowledge grounding, vector search, prompt engineering, and Agentic AI patterns.
  • Develop Copilot Studio solutions leveraging Generative Orchestration, Agent Flows, Actions, Knowledge Sources, MCP integrations, Custom Connectors, and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
  • Build integrations across Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, SAP, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, API Management, and Entra ID.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices across AI and Power Platform projects.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, application monitoring, telemetry, security controls, and deployment automation for enterprise solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into technical solutions.
  • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging Microsoft AI technologies.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Specialist: 4 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Education BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and applications, including natural language processing (NLP) fundamentals.

Must Have:
  • Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate)
  • Azure fundamentals
  • API integration experience
  • JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python
  • Strong Interest in Generative AI
  • Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) fundamentals
  • Exposure to Agile development practices and tools.

Information for US Applicants
For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $110,700.00 to $ 171,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
