Job description

  • Support enterprise cloud infrastructure services with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure
  • Support Azure Virtual Desktop technology, leveraging Nerdio and FxLogic
  • Provision and manage cloud resources using approved standards for subscriptions, management groups, resource groups, tagging, naming conventions, and environment classification
  • Support Infrastructure as Code and automation toolkits
  • Maintain cloud security controls, including least-privilege access, privileged identity management, RBAC, encryption, logging, monitoring, and policy enforcement
  • Configure actionable monitoring, alerting, dashboards, telemetry, escalation paths, and operational reporting
  • Support cloud lifecycle management, including operating system upgrades, patching, backups, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions
  • Provide tier-three escalation support for cloud infrastructure incidents, performance issues, connectivity problems, and reliability concerns
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, deployment guides, diagrams, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience supporting cloud infrastructure services in an enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration, including compute, storage, identity integration, monitoring, backup, and governance capabilities
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, including Virtual Desktop and IaaS
  • Strong understanding of PaaS, serverless services, virtualization, networking, security, scalability, resiliency, and cost management
  • Familiarity with Azure Policy, management groups, subscriptions, resource tagging, RBAC, privileged access, and cloud governance practices
  • Experience supporting cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across cloud, identity, operating system, and application layers
  • Strong documentation, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, ownership-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced enterprise technology environment
  • Strong commitment to secure, reliable, scalable, and well-documented infrastructure services
  • Continuous improvement mindset focused on automation, standardization, repeatable processes, and operational maturity
  • Ability to balance project delivery, operational support, stakeholder communication, and production reliability priorities
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications, including Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer, are preferred
  • Comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
