Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Microsoft Azure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Franklin, TN. In this role you will be supporting a global, multi-geo hybrid environment with over 25,000 users. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and optimization of our Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 platforms, with a strong focus on identity, access management, and cloud security.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in Azure identity services, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
A Day in the Life:
  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) across a global, multi-geo tenant.
  • Lead administration and optimization of Azure services, with a strong focus on Entra ID (Azure AD), identity and access management, app registrations, and authentication.
  • Drive identity-centric security initiatives including Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust-aligned controls.
  • Lead hybrid environment initiatives, integrating on-prem infrastructure with Azure and cloud identity services to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID platforms, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Develop and enforce security and compliance policies leveraging Microsoft security and identity governance tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned to business objectives and user needs.
  • Drive automation and operational efficiency using PowerShell and scripting tools.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
  • Partner closely with offshore teams to support global operations.
  • Own SLA/SOP tracking, documentation, and service delivery metrics.
  • Provide Level 2 & Level 3 support for Microsoft 365 and Azure identity platform services.

Who We're Looking for:
Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years experience with Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
  • Deep expertise in Azure identity services, including Entra ID, identity and access management, and hybrid identity configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure app registrations, Conditional Access policies, authentication methods, and identity security best practices.
  • PowerShell/Microsoft Graph experience.
  • Proven ability to support global, multi-geo tenants within hybrid architectures.
  • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and governance within Microsoft cloud. environments, especially identity-driven security models.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.

Desired:
  • 10+ years of strong IT experience
  • Experience with cloud migration initiatives (on-prem to Azure).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security models and modern authentication protocols.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
