Job description

Job Summary:
Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is a trusted government contracting partner delivering secure and innovative solutions for national defense and intelligence missions. They are seeking a Database & Application Specialist to provide direct technical support for drinking water data systems, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain, enhance, and support SDWIS/STATE and DW-SFTIES applications
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle and relational database tables
• Support data migration, validation, and quality assurance activities
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Access applications, including queries, forms, and reports
• Support drinking water compliance activities in accordance with 40 CFR Part 141
• Prepare monthly status reports, technical documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs) and comply with QA/QC standards
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and privacy requirements
• Collaborate with staff, contractors, and stakeholders to support program goals
Qualifications:
Required:
• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 5+ years of database and/or application development experience
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL, and Microsoft Access
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Ability to work on-site in Denver, CO
• Ability to successfully pass required background checks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred:
• Experience supporting government, environmental, or regulatory data systems preferred
