Celestar, a B&A Company, is seeking a Database/Web System Administrator to support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Program Security Services (PSS) task order. ANTICIPATED AWARD: February/March 2027 ANTICIPATED START: March 2027 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 1 Base Year + 4 Option Years LOCATION: Arlington, Virginia Salary Range: $130,000-$180,000 annually Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: • Develop conceptual database designs and prepare database requirements, standards, scripts, procedures, data dictionaries, and supporting documentation. • Maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and support interconnectivity of the SID Security Control Suite (SCS) database. • Coordinate with technical organizations on database hosting, support, patching, power, backups, and related infrastructure. • Establish user requirements and monitor database access and security. • Monitor database performance and optimize parameters for efficient front-end query performance. • Maintain database integrity, security, storage efficiency, and performance. • Refine logical and physical database designs and coordinate installation and testing of new DBMS versions. • Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings to ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements. • Oversee requirements-gathering sessions and maintain internal data standards. • Train users on applicable database systems. • Develop and maintain data-entry audit processes. • Coordinate maintenance and repair of databases, applications, systems, and networks. • Maintain inventory and configuration control and ensure upgrades, archiving, maintenance, and testing are performed. • Design, develop, test, and debug software and upgrades as required. Required Qualifications and Skills (Must Be Reflected on Your Resume): • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 8 years of qualifying related experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems may substitute for 4 years of experience. • Recent experience performing applicable functions on a Federal Government contract or within a Federal Government organization. • Demonstrated experience performing DBMS administrator activities in a classified environment. • Knowledge of database system standards, methodologies, and business applications. • Leadership ability to set priorities, balance workloads, conduct quality control, and advise/mentor developers. • Proficiency with applicable technologies identified such as, SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access, C#/C++, Visual Studio, Entity Framework, LINQ/T-SQL, ASP.NET, IIS, HTML/CSS/Java/JavaScript/Ajax/XML/JQuery, Spotfire, and Splunk.
