Responsibilities
Independently execute moderately complex laboratory and research activities,demonstratinginitiative to advancing project goals. Core techniques include maintenance of human cancer cell lines, cellviabilityand death assays, in vitro and in vivo drug testing, and molecular biology methods such as qPCR, protein analysis, and light-field/fluorescent microscopy.
Design and execute small animal experiments with increasing independence, including subcutaneous injections, intraperitoneal drug administration, and preparation of tissue samples for histopathologic analysis.
Proactively analyze and interpret experimental data,identifytrends, and troubleshoot challenges. Conduct literature reviews to inform experimental design and drive the research project forward.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, while alsodemonstratingthe ability to independently coordinate aspects of the research.
Complies with institution, state and federal regulatory policies, procedures, directives, and mandates.
This job provides technical and administrative support in a laboratory environment performing basic laboratory techniques, research and analysis under direction.
Performs other related work as needed.
