With our focus on Quality, Value, and Legendary Customer Care, our Centers are devoted to building strong and last relationships with our dentists and their team members. We are looking for a determined, high energy, well-organized individual for the position of Dental Ceramist to join our RTG team in Rochester, New York.

*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment.*

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing the esthetics that our customers have come to expect

  • Responsible for facial cutback layering of porcelain, contouring, and glazing of high end anterior and posterior zirconia and e.max restorations

  • Proficiency in full contour crown and bridge contouring and stain and glaze

  • Ability to produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality porcelain and staining work

  • Ability to do final quality inspection of crown and bridge cases with efficiency

  • Perform digital scanning and finishing of dental model and surgical guides in 3Shape scanning system

  • Ability to match and create custom shades and meet tight deadlines

  • Operate a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment

  • Maintain clean equipment and work area

  • All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, terminology, and techniques preferred

  • Minimum of 3 yearsโ€™ experience in porcelain layering, contouring, and finishing of ceramic restorations

  • High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent hand/eye coordination

  • Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time

  • Team player is a must with willingness to learn new responsibilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
