The Job:

As a Engineer II, Electrical, you'll be part of our Product Execution team working as a hybrid employee. You'll get to:

  • Implement wireless connectivity hardware for professional power tool products that satisfy end user needs in the Global Tools and Storage business unit
  • Learn product development milestones in a world-class product management system from concept through design, mass manufacturing, and full product cycle life support
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design new products and platforms, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and reports
  • Build and test prototypes alongside technicians to prove out designs
  • Effectively identify and communicate major technical and schedule issues to team leaders in a clear, concise, and timely manner while driving appropriate actions

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering(minimum)
  • 2+ years experience in Electronics design within a relevant industry
  • Familiarity with analog hardware design and troubleshooting, DFMEA, tolerance stack up, and hands-on failure analysis
  • Digital design experience, including microcontroller selection, digital communication protocols, and power budget calculations
  • Boardlevelbring up and troubleshooting hands-on experience: oscilloscope, voltage and current probes, DMM, spectrum analyzer, VNA and similar equipment
  • Good communication skills and ability to self-prioritize tasks
  • Schematic capture and PCB design experience using Altium designer a plus
  • Circuit simulation with LTSpice or similar a plus

The Salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $115,900.00
