Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and mount equipment such as service bodies, liftgates, cranes, toolboxes, lighting systems, and auxiliary components.
  • Modify and fabricate vehicle parts to fit custom specifications.
  • Perform wiring, hydraulic, and pneumatic system installations and repairs.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and installation instructions.
  • Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and functionality.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and organized condition.
  • Communicate with supervisors, project managers, or customers regarding requirements and progress.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA standards.

Skills / Education / Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Previous experience as an upfitter, mechanic, fabricator, or installer preferred.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to lift/move parts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
