Job description

We are currently looking to add a Laboratory Technician I to our Products team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will support Microbiologics' scientific work by performing routine laboratory tasks and assisting with daily lab operations. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced laboratory environment, focused on following established procedures, ensuring quality, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.

What can I expect in this role?

This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is a non-exempt role.

Some key duties in this role include:

  • Conduct basic laboratory procedures following established protocols and work instructions.
  • Accurately document test results and complete required records.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Assemble products while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or deviations promptly to a supervisor.
  • Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Follow all laboratory safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
