Job description

Micro Metals is hiring a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Payable Clerk to support our accounting operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Process invoices and outgoing payments in accordance with company policies
โ€ข Verify, code, and accurately enter accounts payable data
โ€ข Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
โ€ข Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
โ€ข Generate reports related to accounts payable and aging
โ€ข Support month-end close and audit requests
โ€ข Ensure compliance with W-9 documentation, sales tax, and internal controls
โ€ข Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues
โ€ข Provide general administrative support as needed

What We're looking For
  • Experience in accounts payable, "AP", or accounting support required
  • Experience managing high-volume invoice processing strongly preferred
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Work Environment
