Job description

We are currently seeking a Micro-Assembly Operator for the third shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Monday–Friday) in Santa Rosa. The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $30.00 per hour.
 
Position Summary:
The Micro-Assembly Operator is responsible for the precise assembly and inspection of microcircuit components. This role is crucial to product quality and functionality, requiring exceptional attention to detail, steady hand movements, and the ability to work with delicate materials in a controlled manufacturing environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of microcircuit parts throughout the assembly process.
- Collaborate with engineering, training staff, coordinators, and fellow operators to maintain high production and quality standards.
- Work independently under the direction of a coordinator to meet area goals and production requirements.
- Handle delicate and sensitive materials with precision and care.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including bonders, pick-and-place machines, epoxy dispensers, and manual assembly tools.
- Follow strict quality standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Perform detailed assembly and inspection tasks requiring steady, deliberate hand movements.
- Identify and communicate quality concerns through the established chain of command.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work in an ESD-controlled cleanroom environment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination for accurate handling and placement of small components.
- Ability to handle and process multiple materials simultaneously.
- Experience working with microscopes is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills for data entry, documentation, and system navigation.
- Strong coordination and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle delicate products with precision and consistency.
- Effective team communication and collaboration skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
 
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
