The Line of Business Strategy Partner plays a critical role in driving growth, profitability, and operational performance across Canteen One's core business segments, including Micro Markets, Vending, and Office Coffee, Tea, and Water Services. This role serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, leveraging data, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and execute initiatives that improve revenue, customer retention, operational effectiveness, and overall business results. 

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, analytical expertise, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, lead strategic initiatives, and deliver measurable outcomes. 

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Leadership
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and execute growth strategies across designated lines of business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, customer retention, and operational performance.
  • Support annual business planning and strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform business decisions.
  • Performance Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze operational and financial performance metrics to identify opportunities and business risks.
  • Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and recommendations that support decision-making.
  • Utilize data to drive same-store sales growth, margin improvement, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Measure the effectiveness of strategic programs and recommend enhancements based on results.
  • Commercialization & Program Development
  • Lead product, equipment, supplier, and service initiatives that support growth and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate pilot programs, analyze outcomes, and develop plans to scale successful solutions.
  • Support innovation efforts that improve client experiences and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize best practices across the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supplier partners to align priorities and execute key initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and adoption of best practices across internal teams and field organizations.
  • Influence stakeholders and drive results without direct reporting authority.
  • Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to advance strategic objectives.
  • Lead initiatives focused on process improvement, operational efficiencies, and business optimization.
  • Support change management efforts and ensure successful implementation of new programs and initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years of experience in business strategy, operations, supply chain, category management, finance, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience utilizing ERP and reporting systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
