Responsibilities

  • Participate in the helpdesk ticketing queue to provide resolutions to internal customers’ IT issues
  • Process onboarding and offboarding tasks for new hires and employee departures
  • User account creation
  • System setup and deployment using a standardized imaging tool
  • Physical setup of IT hardware for internal customers
  • Perform software installations for core and add-on applications
  • Monitor patching status for the corporate network, provide reports on compliance and remediate as necessary
Skills & Experience
  • The ideal candidate should have some experience in the IT Field (2+ years)
  • Strong computer troubleshooting skills in a wide variety of Microsoft based products (Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, MS Office)
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN concepts and networking such as IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and associated troubleshooting
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Must thrive in a team environment and demonstrate effective team interaction
  • Must have strong organizational, priority, and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Possess self-initiative and motivation to work without requiring strict supervision
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
  • Ability to determine severity and priority of an issue, know when to escalate or hand-off
  • Ability to maintain a calm and patient demeanor when working with end users
  • BS in MIS/CS/Engineering or equivalent
  • Currently possess or are working on at least 1 certification (A+, Net+, Microsoft MTA, etc..) or relevant industry experience

The base annual salary hiring range for this position is $51,000-$67,500
