Job description

We are currently hiring for a 1st-shift Outdoor Skilled Laborer.

Description:

  • Will Perform all required duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders.
  • Will match mark plates, as necessary.
  • Will walk with and guide the MI Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking for loading and storing products.
  • Will assist with onside iron work duties.
  • Will be responsible to use electric drills to drill holes where needed.

Our next co-worker will ideally possess the following:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Willingness work outdoors, 100% of the time, in all weather conditions, is required.
  • Previous steel erection (iron worker) or general laborer experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, include drills.
  • Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain while on the job.
  • The ability to read, write, and follow directions.
  • Prior experience in truck driving preferred
  • Willingness to learn and operate Mi-Jack equipment
  • A valid PA driver's license is required.
