Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of power and signal distribution systems, including wiring harnesses, control panels, and signal pathways for industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams on projects contributing to the layout, integration, and testing of electrical distribution systems and control networks.
  • Support the creation of electrical schematics and documentation for product designs using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoDesk Inventor or similar design tools.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to power distribution and signal integrity, learning the fundamentals of diagnostics and problem-solving.
  • Assist in ensuring all designs meet relevant industry standards and safety codes, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508A.
  • Perform electrical testing, simulations, and validation processes to optimize the performance of power and signal distribution systems.
  • Contribute fresh ideas to improve electrical designs and system performance, working in a collaborative and cross functional environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering, especially in the area of power and signal distribution.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in designing and integrating wiring harnesses, control panels, and signal distribution networks within industrial electrical environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, and UL 508A, with the ability to apply them consistently across projects.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN is strongly preferred; experience with AutoCAD Electrical or other design software tools will also be considered. Familiarity with Inventor is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational and time management skills, consistently delivering high-quality results on schedule.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and leading cross-functional projects, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Solutions-oriented problem solver with a keen attention to detail and the ability to anticipate challenges and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic engineering environment.

Work Environment:

  • This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances

Compensation/Benefits:

The final compensation offer may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and location.
