THE JOB:
As a Coat Check Attendant, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. In this role, here at MGM Springfield you will use your 2+ years of customer service experience to collect, transport, store, and return coats and jackets for guests. You will shine in this role by understanding guests needs, creating positive experiences that guests will remember far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $15.00 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Assist guests and hotel staff in a professional manner, maintain a positive attitude and outgoing personality, demeanor and professional appearance
  • Provide a high level of guest service to all guests and co-workers which are aligned and guided by the Company and Property's core service standards and brand attributes in order to provide defining moments at every opportunity
  • Collect, transport, store, and return coats and jackets for guests
  • Orient guests to property and provide multiple Company offerings
  • Complete applicable documentation, tickets, and other bell related forms
  • Make and receive phone calls to guests and other employees for information, services, follow-up, and deliveries

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ Years of prior relevant experience Guest service experience or Customer service experience is preferred
  • Willing and able to work a part-time schedule consisting of overnights Sunday through Wednesday, 10:30PM - 7:15AM, this includes weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Pay Rate
The rate for this role is:
$15.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
The estimated annual tips this role could reasonably be anticipated to receive is: $0 - $100.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
