The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Lab Technician Team Member who will support the head of a mid-to-large-scale Crypto and Key Management Program. In this role, the Lab Technician will support Department of the Navy (DoN) efforts focused on Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and cryptographic products.
Responsibilities:
  • Program Support & Integration: KMI system integration, configuration, and testing protocols for the Navy's KMI Program to guarantee fleet readiness prior to shipment.
  • Technical Analysis: Conducted technical analyses of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to align with explicit customer specifications.
  • Troubleshooting & Resolution: Diagnosed complex technical issues to deliver specification-compliant solutions and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Requirements Assessment: Assess and validated specialized product needs in strict accordance with customer requirements and technical specifications.
  • PITCO Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive Pre-Installation and Test Check-Out (PITCO) check sheets to guide the integration lifecycle.
  • Training & Briefings: Conducted technical training sessions and high-level product briefings for end-users, customers, and organizational representatives.
  • Systems Testing & Documentation: Maintain and update system-test documentation while performing rigorous system-level testing, evaluation, and quality assurance.
  • MGC Configuration: Verified MGC BIOS settings, restore operational KMI hard drive images, execute network interface scripts, built RAID arrays, and configured DAR/WAVE.
  • KG-250 Encryption Setup: Perform factory resets, software upgrades, configuration builds, test key loads, ping tests, and route verifications on KG-250 devices.
  • AKP Lifecycle Management: Execute factory resets and software upgrades to the latest builds for Advanced Key Processors (AKPs).
  • Instructional Delivery: Deliver hands-on, group, and individual instruction covering the end-to-end integration, setup, and configuration of KMI Suites.
  • Technical Writing: Generated and documented standard operating procedures (SOPs) for KMI Suite validation and system integration.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5 years of experience in Hardware & Software Integration
  • Network engineering/configuration knowledge and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work with customers and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Quality Assurance & Mission Readiness experience
